Uses Napa Gold 1042, Mobil 1 M1107, or K&N Gold HP-1007 filter. These are the only recommended oil filters.
Installation notes: Oil both o-rings prior to installation. Screw the oil filter adapter onto the engine by hand. You can feel when the rubber O-rings begin to seat, and when the adapter housing bottoms onto the adapter base. Tighten the filter housing using installation tool. Do not exceed 25 Nm (18 Ft/Lbs) torque when tightening after adapter has bottomed out onto block. Do not overtighten filter adapter OR filter. If an o-ring is damaged, replacements are available.
